Patients are saying

"I had wonderful experience with my provider and her team. She is very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate provider. After talking to me, she ordered all necessary test, and blood was drawn right there and then. The result was up in 2-3 day in patient portal, so that I could see myself too. Very happy about my whole experience."

"That portal is a good tool to be able to communicate with doctor in between appointments."

"I appreciate the text messages notifying me of the exam results and letting me know my medicine is ready for pickup. Being a person of low income, I love knowing that I can receive such excellent service at an affordable price."

"Professional caring support. good communication in sending reminders of appointments. Very good environment."

Patient Point - interactive, engaging health education content in the exam room. Includes provider tools such as interactive anatomy diagrams, white board and ability to text patient education content directly to patient.

Growth Opportunity and Challenge-

HSNT is bridging the gap for OB/Prenatal Care

HSNT provided prenatal care for

921 women in 2022,

an 18% increase YOY.

570 Babies were born throughout the year,

a 26% increase YOY.

"For the past decade, I have been privileged to provide maternal prenatal care and delivery to the patients of Health Services of North Texas. Their appreciation for the excellent care they receive from the entire team at HSNT is always rewarding. The nurse practitioners on the front lines are second to none. I love working with them and could not have our excellent outcomes in a high risk population without them." - Dr. Antonio Asis

Challenge: There is a shortage of OB providers that are willing to work in the hospital setting delivering babies. Our local hospital and community are experiencing a shortage of laborist due to rapid growth and demand. HSNT is working with local partners do identify solutions.

One-time funding opportunities enabled HSNT to further strengthen and invest in people, systems, and processes to create additional patient access and continue providing quality, effective care.

These one-time investments supported our first full year of operations at HSNT Plano, remote monitoring for patients with hypertension and diabetes, increased patient access to medications, HSNT BEST, and an intentional strategic effort to End the HIV Epidemic.

By maximizing the impact of each opportunity, we are able to better serve our patients and community for many years to come.
